SpaPop Party Policies

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Please review the following policies to ensure a smooth and sparkly experience for everyone. 💖

💸 Booking & Payment

  • A $250 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your event date. This fee secures your date and covers planning and preparation time.

  • The remaining balance is due at least 7 days before your event. Failure to submit final payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the event and release of the reserved date. All payments made remain non-refundable.

  • Let us know if you would like us to break up your balance into flexible payments. As long as the balance is paid off 7 days before your event date.

  • If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. While booking fees are non-refundable, we will happily reschedule your event if cancellation occurs before the 48-hour window.

  • Clients must confirm the event address and party selections at least 10 days prior to the event date so we can properly prepare for your celebration. Events are considered fully confirmed only once final payment and required event details have been received.

  • After your event details are finalized, we’ll send a SpaPop Client Service Agreement to review and sign so everything is confirmed and ready for your celebration.

  • We’re happy to help you customize your SpaPop experience! If you wish to change your party package, please let us know no later than 10 days before your scheduled party. This allows us time to order materials and prepare everything for your special day. If choosing a custom theme party, you may change your party package if materials have not already been ordered.

  • We understand life gets busy! However, clients are responsible for responding to SpaPop communications regarding event planning. If required information or responses are not received, the event may be canceled and the date released to other families.

  • If client communication stops, or required payment, or event details are not received on time, SpaPop reserves the right to cancel the reservation and release the event date without further notice.

  • SpaPop operates rain or shine whenever safely possible. However, in cases of unsafe weather conditions, hazardous locations, or situations that may compromise guest or staff safety, SpaPop reserves the right to reschedule the event.

🚐 Travel & Setup

  • We proudly serve Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, Scotts Valley, Watsonville, Los Gatos, Campbell, and San Jose.

  • A $150 travel fee applies to any location more than 20 miles from our home base in Santa Cruz 95062.

  • 20–50 miles: $150

  • 50–75 miles: $250

  • A dedicated flat parking space of at least 26 feet is required upon arrival.

  • We will arrive 35 minutes early to set up and prepare the SpaPop bus for your party.

  • Guests will be invited onto the bus at the scheduled start time.
    Please ensure all guests arrive on time. We are not responsible for missed activities due to late arrivals.

  • The client is responsible for securing permission to host the event at the selected location. SpaPop is not responsible for interruptions or shutdowns by property owners, businesses, venues, parks, or law enforcement.

  • SpaPop services begin upon arrival and setup at the scheduled event location to prepare for your celebration.

💅 Guest Prep

  • All guests should arrive with bare nails (no polish or gel) to avoid time being taken from other activities.

  • We polish nails only. We do not clip or cut. Services are for entertainment purposes only.

  • The price remains the same regardless of guest count. If fewer guests attend, we will simply spend extra time pampering those present.

🎉 Package Selection

  • Please choose the package that best fits your guest of honor’s age range.

  • If you have guests of varying ages, we recommend selecting the package closest to the birthday guest’s age.

  • We’ll do our best to make it fun and memorable for everyone, regardless of age.

  • We’re happy to help you customize your SpaPop experience! If you wish to change your party package, please let us know no later than 10 days before your scheduled party. 💕 On the Bus

  • The SpaPop bus remains parked throughout the duration of the party.

  • No guests are allowed on the bus while it is in motion.

  • Each guest will receive a robe and headband to wear during the party. These items are to be returned at the end of the event.

  • Adults are welcome to pop in to check on the party, but only one adult at a time is allowed onboard due to limited space.

  • All guests are expected to behave respectfully and follow instructions for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

    🧼 Cleanliness & Sanitation Policy

  • At SpaPop, we take sanitation seriously to ensure a safe, sparkling experience for every guest. All tools, surfaces, and equipment are thoroughly disinfected and sanitized between each use and between every guest. Spa robes, headbands, and beauty items are either single-use or freshly laundered before every party. Our party hosts follow strict sanitary protocols to maintain a clean and comfortable environment—because every SpaPop star deserves the very best! ✨🫧

✍️ Waivers & Health Info

  • A signed waiver is required for each guest, completed by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Please inform us during booking of any allergies or health conditions so we can do our best to accommodate them.

  • Flashing lights are used on the SpaPop bus. Please let us know in advance if any guests are sensitive to light.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that children do not attend with any contagious illness, including but not limited to colds, flu, fever, rashes, warts, lice, or other transmissible conditions. This is for the safety of all guests and SpaPop staff.
